Recent Highlights:
Shafi Quraishy, is a Dubai based Indian Artist and Independent Scientific-Inventor born in Kerala, India in 1976. He was nominated for THE INDIA YOUTH ICON AWARD-2009 for his excellence in Art as Inspiring Young Indian. His invention known as Gravitational Electric Power Plant Technology(G-POWER PLANTS)which produce Electricity in very large scale with out fuel and with out pollution and it is published in Indian patent office journal. Quraishy is one of the Planning Body Member and Advisor along with French Scientist-Dr.Vladimer Essalov for the up coming Prestigious Museum Project KOCHI ART& SCIENCE SPACE -KASS. |

He studied Art at GOVT:College Of Fine Arts ,Trichur , Kerala,
And he moved to Cholamandal Artists' village Chennai in 1995, where he was a resident artist for 8 years and served as the Treasurer of Progressive Painters' Association. He was the Indian representative of The Asian Elephant Art &Conservation Project (A.E.A.C.P) - New York. He has appeared on a segment of MTV's International for Road Rules Productions (New York) and his role in A.E.A.C.P received widespread media attention and sold those paintings for record bidding price at Christie’s Auction, NewYork. In addition to his paintings, he has been involved in numerous film projects and ad-films as an actor, model and director. |
